Sara Evans' latest album is called 'Slow Me Down,' but she refuses to reduce her speed. The singer is slated to make her debut on the hit show 'Nashville' just one night after performing at the Grand Ole Opry's Opry Goes Pink show.

On Oct. 29, Evans will make her debut on ABC's 'Nashville,' performing a duet with with Will Chase, who plays one of the show's leading men, Luke Wheeler. The two will sing a duet of Evan's most recent single, 'Put My Heart Down,' which will be available on iTunes immediately following the show.

"I am a huge fan of the show Nashville -- I watch it with my family," says the 'Born to Fly' hitmaker, "so when I was asked to be a part of this upcoming season I was really excited. Everyone from the cast and crew were so great to work with during the shoot. I had a great time and can’t wait to watch with my whole family on the 29th!"

And if her first appearance on an award-winning show weren't enough, Evans is also performing on the Opry! On Oct. 28, she will be part of the sixth annual Opry Goes Pink live concert event, benefiting Women Rock for the Cure in the fight to end breast cancer.

Since the release of her seventh studio album, Evans has been a busy girl. She also sat down with the documentary web series, 'Nashville: On the Record' to discuss 'Put My Heart Down' with the songwriters and her 'Nashville' duet partner, Chase. Fans can catch the behind-the-song video on the official website for 'Nashville' right after the episode airs.
