Sheryl Crow performed 'Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire' -- also known as 'The Christmas Song' or 'Merry Christmas to You' -- during the 2013 'CMA Country Christmas' special on Dec. 2.

The song was originally recorded by the Nat King Cole Trio in 1946, and Crow brought her own rendition of the classic carol to the stage. She sang a laid-back, smooth jazz version of the holiday song while perched on a bar stool.

The songstress was perched in front of a gigantic fireplace that was decked out with red and green Christmas presents and several Christmas trees. In addition to her strong vocals, a long trombone solo pepped up the 'CMA Country Christmas' performance, and Crow smiled throughout her number, clearly enjoying the holiday cheer in the Bridgestone Arena.

Although there were no "folks dressed up like Eskimos" or "chestnuts roasting on an open fire," Crow's simple performance was enough to warm hearts until next holiday season!
