It’s the season of campfires and campgrounds and Instagram pics that make it seem like you are having the time of your life while mosquitoes fly around your head. It’s summer, baby!

And whether you consider yourself an outdoor enthusiast or not, there is no doubt that some of the treats that you can cook up during a campout just might be some of the best you will partake in all year! A great example of is Skillet Beer Cheese!

Borrowed from our friends at Delish.com in honor of National Cheese Day on Tuesday (June 4), this recipe calls for a mix of shredded cheddar cheese cream cheese, garlic and yes, beer! What makes it even better that it can be made in a skillet right on your campfire.

Heck, bring out the bread and have your guests dip it right in the skillet for some oozy-cheesy goodness, right from their lawn chairs. As you are enjoying this irresistible treat, put your phone away for a moment and truly enjoy all that summer has to offer.
