Sure, Smithfield know their own songs. The "Hey Whiskey" duo sing them all the time, and could literally hum them in their sleep. But we wanted to see how they'd do humming hits by Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line and more.

Jennifer Fielder and Trey Smith are pretty good hummers, as it turns out. Smith is especially patient and proficient with his versions of "Country Girl," "Man! I Feel Like a Woman," "Girl Crush" and "Big Green Tractor." We'd pay to hear him hum "Forever and Ever, Amen."

Smithfield are looking forward to playing Taste of Country Music Festival in June. They say festival fans are the most diehard passionate fans they meet, willing to camp out for days to see their favorite band. This year will be their first playing festivals nearly every weekend, and they can not wait! It means more chances to hear fan reactions to songs like "Hey Whiskey" in person.

"There was one lady this weekend and she was in tears," Fielder says. "She's like 'I just wanna tell you that 'Hey Whiskey' song, it's my story. It's my life and it just speaks to me.'"

"I know music speaks to us all but that kind of reaction, that's when you know a song is special."

Smithfield will also play Country Jam in Grand Junction, Colo. in June.
