Sugarland Set to Return to Indiana for Free Concert
Sugarland will appear in Indiana for the first time since the devastating stage collapse prior to them performing on August 13, which resulted in seven individuals who lost their lives while seriously injuring over 40 others. Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush will perform with their full band for a free show.
"We will return to Indiana for a free concert at Conseco Fieldhouse on Oct. 28th," the band confirmed via Twitter.
Ticket distribution will start with a first-come first-serve "presale" for those ticketholders of the August 13 performance at the Indiana State Fair, which was interrupted with the storms. The special "presale" will start Monday (Oct. 10) at 10:00AM ET, ending at midnight ET on Friday, Oct. 14.
Fans who bought State Fair show tickets online or via telephone will receive unique passwords via email or phone to redeem the same number of tickets they originally purchased. Fans who participated in the Sugarpass fan club presale will receive an email as well, with ticket redemption instructions for use on the duo's website.
Following that, the remaining seats for the Conseco Fieldhouse show will be released to the general public beginning Saturday morning, Oct. 15, at 10:00AM ET. All tickets for the special performance will be available through Ticketmaster, free of charge, while supplies last. Tickets will be limited to four (4) per household.
The special show will serve as the final stop on their highly successful 2011 Incredible Machine Tour. Special guests for the new Indiana performance will be announced at a later date.
