Thomas Rhett's life has been a whirlwind lately. In addition to a cross country tour, Rhett and his wife Lauren brought home their adopted daughter, Willa Gray, from Uganda in May and are expecting another later this summer.

But Rhett isn't alone when it comes to figuring out how to balance a hectic schedule with a family — friends like Jason Aldean let him in on a little sage advice. "I texted Jason Aldean the other day and said, 'How do you ever leave the house and not feel guilty?'" Rhett reveals to The Advocate. Aldean told the rising star that before kids, your mind is wrapped in working toward awards, No. 1 hits and selling out venues.

"After you have kids, you still want those things. But at the forefront of your brain is, 'How can I give my child the best life humanly possible?' (Aldean) said that’s what helps him get on the bus on the weekends. That’s the best piece of advice I’ve gotten so far," Rhett admits.

The "Star of the Show" singer has also looked to pal Dierks Bentley for some words of wisdom, and Bentley offered the new dad a humorous tip: "Dierks said, ‘Don’t be afraid if you drink four Red Bulls a day.’ And I’ve watched Dierks drink a lot of Red Bulls,” Rhett says with a smile.

After a long adoption process that took more than a year, the country singer and his wife were finally able to welcome Willa home, announcing the news on Mother's Day 2017. Their biological child, another daughter, is due Aug. 8.
