Three good looking country men with catchy new songs sit at the top of April's Top 40. Keith Urban, Sam Hunt and Brett Young are battling for the No. 1 spot on a list that also includes hot new singles from Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, Thomas Rhett and Garth Brooks.

Hunt's "Body Like a Back Road" parked itself at No. 2 in March, and while songs often fall backward after the initial buzz wears off, this one hasn't. Newcomers like Dylan Scott and Luke Combs seem to have found their stride — both make leaps on this month's list of the hottest country songs.

Midland makes the biggest leap. You may start April by asking, "Who?" but you won't by the end of the month. Their song "Drinkin' Problem" is coming on strong — look for more from this trio soon!

The list of Top 40 Country Songs of April 2017 is compiled from Billboard chart data and sales figures, in addition to staff opinion and reader feedback.
