Tyler Farr Opens Up About His ‘Redneck Wedding’
Tyler Farr is a single man — but not for long. The singer popped the question to his girlfriend Hannah Freeman this year, and now he's planning his "redneck wedding." Farr stopped by to chat with Taste of Country Nights about his wedding plans and his famous groomsmen.
On May 10, Farr got down on one knee and asked Freeman to be his wife at Nashville's Mother Church. That's right — the singer proposed at the Ryman Auditorium for a truly special engagement. Now he's planning his own kind of wedding.
“We’re getting married in Tennessee," Farr dishes. "I was in Jason [Aldean]'s wedding, walked his little girl down the aisle. He’s one of my groomsmen — Colt Ford, Lee Brice are all groomsmen. It’ll be quite the redneck wedding.”
Aldean isn't just a groomsmen for the event, he's also in charge of Farr's bachelor party. That sounds like trouble to us! Aldean may not be the best man, but Farr says, "I'm just making him in charge."
The couple won't say "I Do" on Aldean's property, but they will be celebrating near Music City: “We’re getting married just outside of Nashville."
Farr's current single is "Better in Boots," and he'll take that song on the road with him and Brice for their 2016 Life Off My Years Tour in 2016.
