2011 CMA Awards Worst Dressed Pictures

Yikes! There were some serious fashion strikes on the 2011 CMA Awards red carpet, beginning with Laura Bell Bundy's pantless purple dress cape ... well, we're not sure what to call it. C'mon, girl!

Shawna Thompson of Thompson Square was showing off a little too much skin in her royal blue cutout dress with a bedazzled harness running across the front. We can only assume the harness was to prevent any embarrassing Janet Jackson-style "wardrobe malfunctions."

Susie Brown of the JaneDear Girls was sporting an over-accessorized goth-chic party dress that had us saying, "Huh?" Her musical counterpart, Danelle Leverett, was not much better off, wearing a snooze-fest black dress that would have been better suited for a junior prom.

And while most of Carrie Underwood's fashion on this night was spot on, her curtain-like green number seen toward the end of the show was a gown choice that bewildered us.
