2012 ACM Award for Song of the Year – Who Will Win?
Our prediction: 'You and Tequila' by Kenny Chesney and Grace Potter. There isn't a runaway favorite for this award, but if voters remain true to the award's purpose (rewarding the songwriter mostly) then Chesney should win. The wrong singer could have turned this into a hackneyed cliche, but Chesney and Potter bat the words back and forth like genuine wannabe-but-shouldn't-be lovers. Lady Antebellum also have a good shot at winning, so it'd be unfair to call that an upset. Certainly look for one those two superstars to bring home the trophy.
