The lineup for the 2016 Austin City Limits Festival has been announced, and country music is at the forefront of the two-weekend long event.

Austin's own Willie Nelson will perform, as will Chris StapletonKacey Musgraves, Anderson East, Maren Morris, Margo Price, Lanco and Aubrie Sellers are among the many acts set to take eight of the ACL stages. The festival will be held Sept. 30-Oct. 2 and Oct. 7-9, with over 130 acts playing.

Three-day general admission tickets go on sale Thursday (May 5) for both weekends. The three-day pass is $255, while one-day passes are $100. For more information and to purchase tickets visit aclfestival.com.

In addition to live music, food stands will include an array of options including tacos, brews, vegan and more. The food served at the festival will be handpicked from a local restaurant or vendor. An art market, a mini-fest for kids and photogenic spaces will also be available over the two weekends.

A 60-minute documentary has been made that showcases the personal connection between bands and their fans who travel near and far to the festival.

Additionally, Nelson takes part in another film that honors the Austin City Limits television show. The documentary is called A Song For You: The Austin City Limits Story and Nelson sings the show's praises in the film, which premiered at the 2016 South by Southwest Festival in March.

“I’ve been associated with Austin City Limits since the beginning,” Nelson says in the A Song for You trailer. “I did the first show.”
