Alabama vs. Diamond Rio – Taste of Country March Bandness Semi-Finals

Two country legends square off in this Semi-Finals March Bandness matchup. Alabama was the biggest country group of the '80s. No group was bigger than Diamond Rio in the '90s. Fans of both acts have proven they're just as loyal today, and any band that faces either of these two in the finals will surely have its work cut out. In the battle to decide country music's all-time greatest band, who should move on? 

Fan votes are the only deciding factor in this month-long competition. The 'Mountain Music' singers cruised past Lonestar, taking 62 percent of the vote last week. Diamond Rio topped Sugarland one week after besting Rascal Flatts. They've surely had the most difficult path to the Final Four. Can their fans keep up the effort against a group of Country Music Hall of Famers?

Vote up to once every hour through 11:59PM ET on March 31, 2013. The winner of this Semi-Finals round will move to face either Zac Brown Band or the Charlie Daniels Band in the finals. The ultimate winner will be declared on April 8, the same day as the NCAA men's college basketball championship game.
