Brad Paisley Gets Cartooned for ‘South Park’ Appearance
Brad Paisley will be making a special television appearance tonight (April 25), but you won't be seeing the star in person. The 'Celebrity' singer will transform into a cartoon to make a cameo on the Comedy Central hit show 'South Park' at 10PM ET.
According to a press release, Paisley will appear as himself in two scenes on the show, once singing the National Anthem before a Denver Nuggets basketball game and then again later, performing a duet with the famed South Park character Cartman.
Tweeting about his experience at 'South Park' this weekend, Paisley said, "Spent the day Sunday @SouthPark. You all might want to watch this Wednesday. So seriously," along with a photo of him sitting by cut-outs of the four main cartoon character. "You'll laugh. You'll cry. You may shart," he added, even admitting that he finds himself to be "a handsome cartoon."
Paisley's cartoon doppelganger will sport the same kind of clothing that the country star dons -- blue jeans, a dark blue top, brown cowboy boots beneath and a white cowboy hat, as seen above -- so it's no wonder that the singer thinks his mini-me looks awfully dapper.
When he's not hanging out on the set of hit cartoon comedy shows, Paisley can celebrate his newly-announced two CMT Music Awards nominations, both for his collaboration with Carrie Underwood on the song 'Remind Me.' The duet is up for Video of the Year and Collaborative Video of the Year.
Plus, Paisley's about to hit the road for the second leg of his Virtual Reality Tour with the Band Perry May 18. The tour kicks off in Indianapolis, Ind. at the Klipsch Music Center and wraps October 20 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles
But before you see Paisley live, you'll want to catch him in his 'South Park' appearance on Wednesday.
