Brantley Gilbert's summer tour plans have taken shape with the announcement of 12 Not Like Us Tour dates.

More concert dates are expected to be announced, but for now the "What Happens in a Small Town" singer will begin on June 20 in Cincinnati, Ohio, take a break and resume on Aug. 22 before closing on Oct. 11 in Charlotte, N.C. Gilbert will play arenas and amphitheaters, and bring his new favorite duet partner with him.

Lindsay Ell will join Michael Ray as support for the Not Like Us Tour. The "Criminal" singer and 2018 Taste of Country RISER also joins Gilbert on his new single, which is a first for the Georgia-born country outlaw. In a press release he remarked that the only thing he enjoys more than her singing is her guitar playing.

Ray joins Gilbert on the heels of a No. 1 hit in "One That Got Away." He's also notched hit songs with "Kiss You in the Morning" and "Think a Little Less."

This first batch of tour dates includes concerts along the east coast and midwest, with St. Louis (Sept. 20) as far west as he gets. "Not Like Us" is a new song Gilbert released last week for a marketing campaign for NASCAR's Geico 500 on April 28. The 34-year-old Gilbert is expected to release a new album this year.
