Brett Eldredge has set the date for his first Christmas album. Glow will be available on Oct. 28, and fans can expect 11 tracks of holiday cheer including a duet with Meghan Trainor on "Baby, It’s Cold Outside."

“I’ve been inspired for this record from a very young age,” Eldredge says in a press release. “I dreamt of the day I could record all these classic songs that I’ve loved since I was a little kid. I recorded those classics in New York City and tried to give a tip of the hat to the ones that came before me — Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Ray Charles — by adding that swing and that soul to the best of my ability.”

Eldredge shares that to get into the holiday spirit while recording in May, the band hung Christmas lights in the studio.

“Everyone was so inspired to make this classic record. I think it really shows in the songs and I can’t wait for people to hear that magic we found,” he adds.

Previously, Eldredge teased the album with some festive videos on his social pages. In one video, shots pan the sheet music of “Holy Night” and “The First Noel” in the studio, while Eldredge learns that musicians playing on the record have performed with Bruce Springsteen, Sting and Prince, much to his surprise.

“That’s crazy! Needless to say, I’m overly excited about the opportunity to do that,” he says.
