Jason Aldean's wife, Brittany, reveals that both her grandmother and the couple's dog, Bentley, died on Saturday (Aug. 4).

She did not share how either died, but both lived long lives. The 30-year-old says her grandmother was 94 years old and Bentley (affectionately known as Mr. B) was "my little chunky companion since I was 19 years old."

Brittany Aldean recognized that Bentley had fans — she regularly posted photos of him on social media. She expressed some hesitance about sharing her loss, but also had gratitude for the words of support.

"He truly was the best dog, my first born, my little chunky companion since I was 19 years old ... there will never be another like him," she says. "Where there were dog bowls and beds, now there are only memories of that sweet little ‘toof’ and loud snores."

More than 600 people commented on her post in the first 30 minutes. Jason Aldean was in Detroit Lakes, Minn. on Saturday night playing WE Fest.

In 2017, Brittany Aldean shared that Bentley had cancer, but was being treated with chemotherapy. At the time they were hopeful the cancer was gone. Earlier that year they adopted a French Bulldog named Boss, and Brittany also brought a Pomeranian named Mia into the marriage. Aldean has adopted his own bulldogs in the past.

The couple have one son together, but recently revealed they're expecting another (human) child. They've not said if it's a boy or a girl, but underwent IVF to conceive.
