Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany tried for a year and a half to get pregnant before learning what was holding their attempts at In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) back.

Talking to the Babes & Babies podcast, Brittany Aldean shared candid details about trying to conceive, her endometriosis diagnosis and finally, IVF. It's the first time she has shared that they conceived using In Vitro, and they almost weren't successful.

"Memphis was our last (egg)," she reveals. "So it was like, if this doesn't work — I was considering a surrogate. We were thinking about all the options."

The 29-year-old shares that the long IVF process was more difficult than her pregnancy, which saw relatively few complications (that she mentioned), no nausea and a late craving for Fruity Pebbles cereal. It took 18 months and multiple physically and emotionally draining attempts before she learned she had endometriosis. After a procedure, the couple got pregnant fairly quickly and were overjoyed. Memphis was induced and born naturally (with an epidural) on Dec. 1.

The Aldeans are considering trying for one more (but just one more), and if it were up to Brittany, they'd start as soon as possible. She figures, why not get the diaper stage out of the way all at once? As for the "You Make It Easy" singer ..

“This morning, Memphis was screaming and Jason turned over in bed and was like ‘And you wanna do this again soon?’” she says laughing. Expect the Aldeans to hit the road together this spring. His Rearview Town album drops on April 13.
