Brothers Osborne took home the award for Vocal Duo of the Year at the 2017 ACM Awards, beating out longtime residents Florida Georgia Line and Big & Rich for the coveted award. It’s their first year to win an ACM award, and the guys were shocked and psyched to have their own trophy this time around.

“What is happening right now? We have the best seats in the house, I don’t even know how we got invited to sit up front,” T.J. Osborne joked as they both freaked out accepting the prize. “We were sittin’ behind Thomas Rhett and he left, and I was like, ‘Well, there goes our air time.’"

They of course thanked their parents, who were in the audience. “Honestly, they believed in us from the time we were babies,” T.J. continued.

“God bless country music!” John exclaimed, fists in the air, to sign off. Prior to the show the BROS admitted they didn't think they'd win, telling Taste of Country's Ania Hammar they only hoped not to fall on stage while singing.

Brothers Osborne has been cultivating their fanbase for years, but rose to stardom with their album Pawn Shop, released in 2016. They also took home the ACM Award for New Vocal Duo/Group of the Year.
