Fitness Magazine released their countdown of 2010's best celebrity bodies, and the beautiful Carrie Underwood came in at number six! The fitness gurus voted Underwood, who recently married Canadian hockey player Mike Fisher, as the 'Best Bridal Body.' The country bombshell stayed in top physical condition for her wedding by keeping up her strict vegetarian diet and by focusing on cardio-based workouts in combination with strength training.

After winning 'American Idol,' Underwood lost 25 pounds and went from a size six to a size two. In an interview with Women's Health Magazine, she shared some of her dieting secrets and why she chose to lose the weight. One way she stays thin is by abstaining from any kind of meat. Underwood decided to become a vegetarian after she witnessed what she called "a traumatic incident" on her family's cattle farm. Even though no one else in her family is a vegetarian, they came to respect her decision even if "it makes for an interesting Thanksgiving."

Underwood also stays fit by forbidding herself to indulge in junk food while she's at home. "The older I get, the harder it is to splurge without consequences," she said. "I love food. Chocolate and cheese and anything that's bad for me. I'll be really good when I'm at home so I can eat what I want to when I'm out with friends."

The singer commented that her choice to lose weight was not sparked by the opinions of others, but by her own desire to be comfortable with the way she looks. "Some people think I'm fat, some people don't. Who are they to judge? But it does bother me -- if I see a picture, and I look chubby, it affects how I feel about myself." Even though we think Underwood has always been a beauty, it is refreshing to see someone taking initiative to make themselves happier. Congratulations to her for all of her hard work.
