Carter's Chord, the all-girl country trio comprised of sisters Becky, Emily and Joanna Robertson (who are also the daughters of Barny and Carter Robertson of The Waylors), are signed to Toby Keith's Showdog Nashville label. While the outspoken Keith cuts an intimidating figure, the sisters Robertson see their boss in a whole other light.

"He doesn't give criticisms," the girls said about working with Keith in an interview with WCYD. "He is so cool, so laid back and asks our opinions and how we feel about it. We tend to move around when we sing and he imitates it!"

As for Keith's "presence," which has been known to fill a room, Carter's Chord downplayed that notion, referencing the superstar's chill vibe. "He is so laid back and is not one of those people who is like, 'Hey, I'm here.' He does his thing. What you see is what you get. He is a wonderful boss to have. After five years, he's just Toby," Carter's Chord said.

The Chord are keeping busy for their famous boss, and will release an EP on May 24, which features six songs written by the girls themselves. Their premiere single is 'A Little Less Comfortable,' and the ladies just shot their very first video thanks to 'just Toby' -- something they've been dreaming of since they were little girls lip-synching in front of a mirror.
