No. 80: Chris Young, ‘Gettin’ You Home’ – Top 100 Country Songs
After winning 'Nashville Star' in 2006, Chris Young didn't find immediate success at country radio. But three years later, the Tennessee native got his first taste of chart success with 'Gettin' You Home,' the second single from his sophomore album, 'The Man I Want to Be.'
Co-written by Young, the sexy serenade became his first chart-topper and lead to a subsequent four consecutive No. 1 singles. As the saying goes, "You never forget your first" -- that's why 'Gettin' You Home' lands at No. 80 on our Top 100 Country Songs countdown.
