Before Brooks and Dunn released 'Boot Scootin' Boogie' on their 1994 album, 'Brand New Man,' country music line dancing was all but dead. It didn't take long for this addition to the Top 100 Country Songs list to catch fire among country fans and inspire a new generation to take up the art of line dancing.

The Texas honky tonk-inspired song was Brooks and Dunn's fourth No. 1 single. It was such a hit that it propelled the duo forward into a hugely successful country music career. Since releasing 'Boot Scootin' Boogie,' Brooks and Dunn have sold more albums that any duo in history, behind only 1960s power team Simon & Garfunkel.
