As Chris Young fans wait eagerly for his upcoming album, due out Nov. 13, the artist is keeping them going with a few teases here and there along the way, including "I Know a Guy." Fans who’ve preordered the record to get an immediate download of the tune.

The ballad is an appeal to a love lost, admitting the relationship is over but letting the lady know the narrator is still around if she ever needs him — or would consider giving him another chance. The clever refrain “I know a guy,” of course, refers to himself, as he explains several scenarios in which he’d be available to fill a role — some of which he regrets. It’s a sad, but sweet, love song showing off Young’s emotional and vocal prowess.

“I Know a Guy” and two other songs — the title track, recently certified gold, and “Think of You,” a duet with Cassadee Pope — are all available for download when fans preorder the album. Young released a promo video on Facebook for his duet with Pope that captures the recording process and a glimpse into the breakup song. Young is also slated to have a collaboration with Vince Gill on the album. I’m Comin’ Over will be a little different than what he’s done in the past, but will still stay true to who he is.

"Making this record, it just feels different,” Young explains. “Nothing changed for the sake of change. It changed because it was the right way to go."

Young co-wrote nine of the 11 tracks and even co-produced the album. He’s currently on the I’m Comin’ Over Tour with Eric Paslay and Clare Dunn around the U.S. after a sold-out run in Europe.
