Chris Young is celebrating his ninth No. 1 single this week with the success of "Sober Saturday Night." The singer thanked fans and country radio for the milestone on Monday (March 6) on Instagram with a post of him performing with Vince Gill on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he debuted the song last year.

"Thanks to my friends in country radio, everyone that requested this one, and of course @vincegillofficial! 'Sober Saturday Night' is my 9th number one!!‬" Young writes.

Young co-wrote "Sober Saturday Night" with Brad and Brett Warren, and its success marks the third consecutive No. 1 from his album I'm Comin' Over. The song reached the top spot on both the Billboard and Country Aircheck radio charts this week.

“I got to sit in his studio and hang out with Vince all day,” Young says of recording the song with Gill, who is featured as a vocalist on the track. “It's just such a cool full-circle thing for me. He’s absolutely someone that I put on a pedestal as a vocalist, as a musician, and as a person.”

Gill shares the same admiration for Young.

"I'm really grateful to be a part of Chris's great career up to this point,” Gill says in a press release. “He has an amazing future ahead of him. Thank you Chris for the opportunity to become a collaborator and a friend."

"Sober Saturday Night" is Young's latest No. 1 single following previous chart toppers "Think of You" -- his duet with Cassadee Pope -- and "I'm Comin' Over," the title track of his latest album.
