Colt Ford Knows He’d Better Be Home for Valentine’s Day
Colt Ford knows that being married means being home for Valentine's Day -- or else he'll spend the holiday in the dog house.
"I had to rearrange a schedule," Ford tells Taste of Country, adding that he was scheduled to appear on the Golf Channel on Feb. 14. "I'm like, 'Uh, whoever booked this obviously is not married, and I am, so y'all need to change this 'cause I gotta get home!'"
The 'Country Thang' singer says that his big V-Day plans include spending some quality time with his wife of 16 years. "I don't really have anything special planned -- we've been married for 16 years, so I just want to be home," Ford says. "I'm sure I'll do something, but that was the first part of my plan -- to make sure I'm there, because being in Orlando was not gonna be a very good answer for her."
In addition to spending quality time with the family, Ford is currently working on his new album, 'Every Chance I Get,' due out this year.
