Dan + Shay are one of the front-runners ahead of this year's ACM Awards with six nominations. Reba McEntire announced the nominees on CBS This Morning on Wednesday, Feb. 20.

Then, the "Tequila" duo took to social media to show their gratitude.

"SIX NOMINATIONS. Wow, thank you ACM — Academy of Country Music and all the voting members for making us feel loved this morning," Dan + Shay write on Instagram. "Additionally, thank you country music for giving us a home to tell our stories and chase our childhood dreams. We are forever grateful for your support and community."

Their first nomination came in for Duo of the Year, where they'll be up against Florida Georgia Line, Maddie and Tae, Brothers Osborne and LoCash when the winners are revealed live on April 7.

Dan + Shay are also up for Album of the Year for their self-titled album — which member Dan Smyers co-produced — battling Eric Church's Desperate Man, Chris Stapleton's From A Room: Volume 2, Kacey Musgraves' recent Grammy winner Golden Hour and Dierks Bentley's The Mountain.

The duo's smash hit "Tequila" got a nod for both Single of the Year and Song of the Year, which honors the songwriters, Smyers, Nicole Galyon and Jordan Reynolds. The accompanying video is also nominated for Music Video of the Year, and Dan + Shay's collaboration with pop's Kelly Clarkson is up for Music Event of the Year.

Individually, Smyers is up for four nods as a producer and songwriter.

The 2019 ACM Awards will be hosted by McEntire and will air live on CBS on Sunday, April 7. Performers are still to be announced.
