Danielle Bradbery has teamed up with fellow Texan Parker McCollum for a new take on Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's "Shallow."

Like everyone else, Bradbery is a fan of A Star Is Born, and she was immediately inspired to put her spin on the song.

“When I heard ‘Shallow’ from A Star Is Born for the first time, I was blown away. The lyrics, arrangement, Gaga’s voice and the emotion…I was just speechless,” Bradbery shares in a press release. “Yet as a singer, I couldn’t wait to find a partner to record this song with.”

Bradbery attended one of McCollum’s shows while she was in Houston in December of 2018. Seeing the crowd’s reaction to the Americana artist's performance, Bradbery felt he was the right person for the song. The pair recorded the cover in Nashville with famed producer Dann Huff.

Bradbery posted an intimate video of herself singing a portion of the song to social media.

“Shallow” follows Bradbery's Yours Truly: 2018 covers project, which featured her own takes on Ariana Grande’s “God Is a Woman,” Post Malone’s “Psycho” and Kacey Musgraves’ “Slow Burn.”

"'Shallow” has been stuck in my head ever since the movie came out," Bradbery posted to her Twitter on March 21. "I am so thrilled to be able to release my own version, especially one with @parkermccollum on it! Thank you Parker for helping bring this to life and thank you to all of you for your overwhelming love!"
