Dierks Bentley has picked Maddie & Tae, Kip Moore and Canaan Smith to open his 2015 Sounds of Summer Tour. To consummate the lineup he asked them all to experience the chills of winter.

The group took to Nashville’s Percy Priest Lake for Bentley’s annual Polar Plunge, and it doesn’t look like anyone knew it was coming. Moore went last in jumping in the freezing cold water after Bentley, Smith and ‘Girl in a Country Song’ singers Maddie & Tae.

The female duo found body suits with frilly white skirts to wear as they jumped from a perfectly good pontoon boat. Bentley brought Moore a pair of swim trunks. It's not clear how Smith found his suit, but he seemed most eager to dive in. In the end, all five took the plunge.

Bentley’s 2015 tour follows last year’s Riser Tour, ToC's Hottest Tour of 2014. The 40-city tour will begin on June 5 in Raleigh, N.C.

“Kip, Maddie & Tae and Canaan are three of the hottest rising artists out there right now,” he said, “and I feel fortunate to be spending the summer with them. If our first 'tour meeting' is any indication, they are up for anything, which is awesome.”

Tickets for Sounds of Summer Tour stops that are part of the 2015 Country Megaticket will go on sale on Jan. 26 through LiveNation. Details about the remaining dates will follow.
