Two of country music's outlaws square off on today's Taste of Country Showdown. The battle will end with an assault of phone call voting on Taste of Country Nights radio on Thursday night. You can vote now for either returning champion Eric Church and his song 'Creepin',' or challenger Brantley Gilbert's new single 'Kick It in the Sticks.'

'Creepin'' returns for a third day after topping 'Born to Be Blue' by the Mavericks on Wednesday. The single makes use of unconventional country production and the singer's sharp songwriting to reach a cathartic pitch before fading away.

Gilbert's new single is aggressive from the very first note. 'Kick It in the Sticks' isn't the song to listen to for background music as you chat with friends and family (unless you have the coolest grandma ever).

Listen to clips of both Church's and Gilbert's songs and vote for your favorite here. You can vote once every hour online, so come back and vote often to be sure your artist wins. Hear the full versions of the songs tonight after 10PM on Taste of Country Nights. You can even vote again by calling (888) 678-9995. Be sure to listen to the show online through any of the 33 radio stations that carry it. Voting will end tonight (July 19) at 10:40PM CT.

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour. If a song wins five days in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
