Garth Brooks Plots His Return to Kansas City
Garth Brooks has announced an upcoming show in Kansas City, Mo. The gig at Sprint Center will mark the first time the superstar has played the market in 10 years.
Brooks and wife Trisha Yearwood are set to perform at Sprint Center on Saturday, May 6 at 7:30PM. The show will be the last one on Brooks' current world tour for Kansas and Missouri.
Tickets for the show in Kansas City will go on sale Friday, March 31 at 10AM CDT exclusively via www.axs.com/garth or by calling 1-844-634-2784 (844-63GARTH). There will be an eight-ticket limit per purchase. Tickets will not be available at the venue box office on March 31. All seats will cost a total of $74.98.
Brooks is in the home stretch of his three-year Garth Brooks World Tour, which marked his return to touring after more than a decade of semi-retirement. Garth Brooks tickets have been among the hottest of the last few years, with Brooks consistently finishing at the top of year-end tickets sales. He has just released a new single titled "Ask Me How I Know," which is the second single from his most recent album, Gunslinger. That album dropped in November of 2016. The country icon has partnered with Amazon Music Unlimited to offer his entire musical catalog for streaming exclusively in one place for the first time, and the new streaming service is also sponsoring his current tour. Brooks is expected to wrap the tour in 2017 with a yet-to-be-announced concert in Nashville, after which he and Yearwood have indicated they will probably continue with a string of dates overseas.
Brooks is also confirmed to perform twice at RodeoHouston in 2018. He will open the rodeo with a performance on Feb. 27, and he's also scheduled to close out the event with a second performance on March 18.
