New York Legalizes Gay Marriage: Country Stars React on Twitter

On Friday night, June 24, New York state senators voted 33-29 to legalize gay marriage. The vote is a step forward for the gay rights movement, and several country stars took to Twitter to share their reactions to the bill being passed. New York will become the sixth state to allow gay marriage -- joining Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire and Iowa, plus Washington, D.C. -- and some of Music City's singers are already voicing their support.
