Home Free’s ‘When You Walk In’ Video Stars ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Pro Brittany Cherry
Home Free take dance lessons from Dancing With the Stars pro Brittany Cherry in their "When You Walk In" video.
The beautiful ballad — a Home Free original — has the popular quintet trading verses as Cherry portrays the love interest of high tenor Austin Brown.
"When You Walk In" was written by Arlis Albritton, Chris Biano and The Voice contestant Brandon Chase and is featured on Home Free’s latest release Timeless. In the three-minute clip, the So You Think You Can Dance contestant spins around the home of Brown's as she brings the lyrics to life.
Artists Who Went Dancing With the Stars: Worst to Best
"When we first recorded 'When You Walk In' I fell in love with it. As we started performing it live, a vision kept recurring in my head. There was this beautiful dancer commanding the song's constant perspective: a marvelous, strong woman who stuns every time she graces a room," Brown explains in a press release. "Watching it come to life, almost a year later, has been absolutely incredible. Getting to work with Brittany was such a dream. She is an artist's artist to say the least, and she far exceeded my initial vision in what we were able to create. Her talent is seriously out-of-this-world and she really shines in this video."
The enchanting video for Home Free’s “When You Walk In” features Cherry effortlessly gliding throughout the home in stunning dresses as Brown looks on. At one point Cherry and Brown dance around the living room together, further highlighting the song's heartfelt lyrics: "When you walk in like that / Even time won't pass ... And my world stops right in it's tracks / When you walk in like that."
This isn't the first time the band has collaborated with Cherry. Earlier this year, she served as a surprise guest during their sold-out headlining show at Nashville's famed Ryman Auditorium. While the band performed "When You Walk In," Cherry danced along to the song on the Ryman stage.
