As Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany Kerr get ready for the birth of their baby boy, they're thinking of what to name their little bundle of joy. While they don't have a name picked out just yet, Aldean promises fans that it will be unique, but in the realm of normal.

"It will be something unique and different. Nothing crazy like a direction — East, West, North, South — none of that stuff," he told Entertainment Tonight on the gray carpet before the 2017 CMT Awards. "It will be something really cool. Both of us have names that are pretty common, Jason and Brittany, so, something that's kind of unique is kind of our main goal."

So, What Will Jason Aldean Name His Baby? We Think It'll Be ...

With both sides of their families full of females, Aldean says and Kerr are looking forward to throwing a boy into the mix, as are his two daughters Keely and Kendyl from his previous marriage. "They both wanted a boy too, so it was pretty exciting for them. I think they're excited to have a little one at home," the stars says of their reaction to getting a baby brother. "For this to be the first boy in the family on both sides is kind of a special thing for everybody."

Brittany admits that this pregnancy — her first — hasn't been too rough on her, although she was "really exhausted" during her first trimester. She hasn't experienced any sickness and eats a lot of healthy food like fruit. "Overall it's been really, really good," she says.

Aldean and Kerr got creative when revealing both their pregnancy and the baby's sex. When sharing the exciting news on Instagram, the parents wore shirts that read "Baby Mama" and "Baby Daddy," posing with their two dogs and balloons on top of the oven that, cleverly, had a bun inside. They have not revealed the baby's due date, but Kerr had a relatively small bump at the CMTs.
