Josh Abbott Band will be kicking off 2017 with a New Year's Eve show in Houston before they travel the rest of the U.S. on the Live It While You've Got It Tour in support of their latest album, Front Row Seat.

"We named the album Front Row Seat because it’s a front row seat to our band and really it’s a front row seat to this story of love and divorce,” frontman Josh Abbott explained to Taste of Country in an interview last year, upon the record's release. “I guess it’s a story of whatever would be the opposite of love. It’s a story about my life."

The honest album about Abbott's life obviously connected with country fans — it debuted at No. 1 last year on Billboard's Independent Albums chart.

Currently, the band's single is "Amnesia," a song that Abbott says is his personal favorite on the album. “This is a breakup song and we haven’t put one of those to radio in a long time, maybe ever," he says. "I just thought that was a really cool song for fans to hear and go ‘This is different. I like it. It’s different. They’ve grown up a little bit’.”

Fans will get an up-close listen to the band's new music on the Live It While You've Got It Tour next year. More dates are expected to be added in the coming weeks.
