Last week, Justin Moore released his sophomore album, 'Outlaws Like Me.' His fans have anxiously been awaiting the new music from the Arkansas native for months, and their patience paid off big time! After first week's sales of 'Outlaw Like Me,' Moore's album became the third best debut of the year, entering the Billboard country albums chart at No. 1. The new collection of tunes also makes its debut on Billboard's Top 200 all-genre albums chart at No. 5.

Of the album's 13 tracks, Moore took part in writing 11, including the title track, 'Outlaws Like Me.'

"That song is probably my favorite song on the album," Moore tells Taste of Country. "It’s probably my favorite song that I’ve ever written as well. Being a Christian and growing up in a town of 300 people and doing this for a living, it’s not always easy to be as good a Christian as you want to be or as you once were. This song really helped me be a better person, and that’s kind of my goal for this song for everybody. When they hear it, I hope it makes them be a better person."

The first single off 'Outlaws Like Me' is the current Top 5 single, 'If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away.' The song has already sold nearly 300,000 copies and is Moore's fastest rising single to date.
