Songwriter rounds in Nashville are nearly a daily activity, but they're usually filled with seasoned pros — adults. This time, a younger face took the stage to blow the Listening Room audience away with a sassy rendition of Taylor Swift's "You Belong With Me."

Some songwriters come to Nashville's Listening Room with intentions of having their songs heard by publishers or artists, and sometimes they come for fun. For young Harper, she's following her dreams directly to the stage. The evening's round included Laura Veltz, Liz Rose, Phil Barton, Gordie Sampson and Sara Haze — and Harper.

Rose, who has written numerous songs for Swift (as well as a slew of hits for other artists including Little Big Town and Tim McGraw), asked Harper to join her on stage for a song. The song was one Rose penned with Swift, "You Belong With Me." It's clear just by watching the clip that Haper is a fan. Her voice shines beside Rose, and although she seems a little timid on stage, she's not afraid to throw a little sass in there. She even took on the second verse herself after some prompting from Rose.
