Kip Moore relays his true feelings for the woman who's caught his attention on his new song, "Last Shot."

Set to impact country radio on Nov. 20, "Last Shot" showcases Moore's rugged vocals and songwriting abilities. He explains in the first verse how he doesn't like to throw around the "L" word too often, wanting to only tell someone he loves them when he truly means it.

While he may not say it explicitly, Moore has no issue turning his honest feelings about his special someone into poetry. "If you were my last breath / I'd just wanna hold ya / If you were my last night of hell on wheels / I'd wanna drive you like I stole ya," he sings in the chorus.

Moore co-wrote "Last Shot" with Dan Couch and David Lee Murphy for his latest album, Slowheartwhich dropped in September of 2017. His third studio project reached the No. 3 spot on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart after its release, in addition to cracking the Top 10 on the multi-genre Billboard 200.

In a Taste of Country cover story, Moore opens up about how the album was inspired by his time in Iceland and his refusal to write or record music that isn't true to himself.

“A lot of times as artists we get backed into this corner because we all want our music played to the masses, and a lot of times the only thing you’ll hear on the radio are happy-go-lucky songs. When it comes to my music, I’m never going to sacrifice my song for the sake of being played on the radio," he says.

Moore continues on his 2017 Plead the Fifth Tour with Drake White and Jordan Davis through Dec. 2.

Did You Know? Moore is close friends with Jewel and wrote songs with her for her last album.

Kip Moore: The Cover Shoot

Kip Moore's "Last Shot" Lyrics:

Well, baby love's just one of those words that gets thrown around / Like a Jack and Coke, sitting on the bar when it gets watered down / So I ain't gonna say it, no I ain't gonna lie / If you want to know the truth, how I feel about you tonight

Chorus:
If you were my last breath, I'd just wanna hold ya / If you were my last night I of hell on wheels, I'd wanna drive you like I stole ya / If you were my last shot, last shot of whiskey / I'd press you to my lips, take a little sip / Swirl you around and around and around / Then I'd shoot ya down

So baby let me look at you and see just what I got / If you were my cherry stem I'd tie you in a knot / If I couldn't help you, oh baby I'd be gone / I'd be floating 'round high as the Colorado sky blowing smoke rings all night long

Repeat Chorus

Last call, last chance
Last dance I was ever gonna get to take

Repeat Chorus
