Lady Gaga may have released a 'Country Road' version of her hit 'Born This Way,' but now Little Big Town are showing her what country really sounds like. The quartet recently did a bluegrass cover of the song while visiting East Tennessee University, and LBT member Karen Fairchild has dubbed the cover "Ga-grass."

In their version of 'Born This Way,' Little Big Town are set up in a hallway for a stripped down black-and-white performance. Backed by instruments like a standup bass, a banjo and one lone drum, the quartet harmonizes with one another during the chorus and during Gaga's "don't be a drag, just be a queen" breakdown. Interestingly enough, neither of the group's female members take over the solo parts. Instead, Phillip Sweet takes the reigns during the song's verses.

The video of LBT's cover of Gaga's smash hit is part of their "Scattered, Smothered, Covered" web series, in which the band performs songs from outside of the country genre. In the past, they have covered Bruno Mars' 'Grenade' and the Script's 'For the First Time.'
