Little Big Town took home Vocal Group of the Year honors at the 2015 ACM Awards.

Alabama were on hand at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas to present the award, which they have won in the past. LBT were up against some tough competition, including Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts, the Band Perry and Zac Brown Band.

Singer Karen Fairchild couldn't hide her fandom for the country legends. "Wow!" she said. "This is Alabama! This is the inspiration for everything we wanted to be, right here. This is incredible."

She added, "Texas, You've really given us so much love. Two things — we really wanted to bring big hair back to country music, and you do it! And you gave us George Strait, and we slow-danced in college to George Strait."

LBT have scored two hits from their current album, Pain Killer. Its lead single was "Day Drinking," a fun-filled anthem, while the second single, "Girl Crush," is one of the hippest songs of the year at country radio so far.
