The Showdown: LoCash vs. Mo Pitney

LoCash fans have stepped up for nearly a week, sending their boys' new song "I Love This Life" to successive Showdowns. Over the weekend Chris and Preston topped Thomas Rhett's new song, making it two straight wins for the duo. Today and Tuesday they'll find their most traditional competitor yet.

It doesn't get more country than Mo Pitney. His debut single is literally called "Country," and it's one fans are looking for again after just a single listen. The Illinois-raised Pitney's smooth, rich voice tells of his raising. Many will argue he's bringing back what country radio needs.

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour online. If a song wins five Showdowns in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
