Luke Combs' sophomore album, What You See Is What You Get, is shattering records as it lands at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart and Billboard's all-genre 200 chart.

The album, released Nov. 8, started with 172,000 equivalent albums, according to Billboard, giving Combs his first No. 1 album on the all-genre 200 chart. Of that 172,000, 109,000 were from regular album sales, while 6,000 were from track equivalent units and 58,000 were from streaming equivalent units.

The huge amount of sales from streaming equates to 74 million audio streams for the entirety of the album's 17 tracks, allowing it to become the highest-streamed country album in a single week ever. What You See Is What You Get shattered the previous record for streams of 47.71 million streams for Gene Autry’s Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Other Christmas Classics.

Combs' second full-length album also begins with the biggest first week sales for a country album since Carrie Underwood released her acclaimed 2018 album Cry Pretty. Underwood's album debuted with 266,000 units in September of last year.

What You See Is What You Get also becomes only the second country music album of 2019 to reach the top position on Billboard's all-genre 200 chart. The first one was Thomas Rhett's Center Point Road. It spent one week on top of the chart.

Combs' sophomore release follows his hugely successful debut album, This One’s for You, which had its highest week sales in June 2018, when the reissue accounted for 55,000 units sold. That album contains hit singles such as "Beautiful Crazy," "Hurricane," "When It Rains It Pours," "She Got the Best of Me" and "One Number Away." It also went on to tie Shania Twain's Come on Over for the longest reign on top of the Top Country Albums chart.
