Luke Combs Reveals ‘What You See Is What You Get’ Album Title, Imaginative Cover Art
Luke Combs' next studio album has a name. The "Even Though I'm Leaving" singer also revealed the cover art, which is a collaboration with Nashville-based artist Rob Hendon.
What You See Is What You Get drops on Nov. 8 featuring all five songs on The Prequel EP, plus 12 more. "Beer Never Broke My Heart" and "Even Though I'm Leaving" are among the songs he's including, as is a new song called "1, 2 Many" featuring Brooks & Dunn. Scott Moffatt returns to produce the album.
The 29-year-old Combs is riding a record-breaking hot streak that includes six straight radio No. 1 hits, streaming records and dozens of sold out dates on his Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour, an arena tour that wraps with two shows in Nashville this December. His debut album This One's for You has been certified platinum and includes songs like "Hurricane," "One Number Away" and "Beautiful Crazy" on the standard or deluxe version. He's up for three awards at the 2019 CMA Awards in Nashville, including Male Vocalist of the Year, Song of the Year and Musical Event of the Year.
The Brooks & Dunn collaboration is actually his second with Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn, as the trio sang "Brand New Man" together for the duo's 2019 album of re-imagined hits called Reboot. The contemporary hitmaker has been praised as an artist that brings a '90s influence to today's country sound.
Combs has tour dates scheduled, and Luke Combs tickets are still available for select dates.
The Story of "Beer Never
On a personal level, Combs is set to get married to longtime girlfriend Nicole Hocking.
