Like chocolate and bacon, country's Maren Morris and R&B artist Alicia Keys are an unexpected pairing that will probably work.  The artists will join up on the hit television series CMT Crossroads stage to play one another's hits and share a night of great music between the two different genres.

Crossroads is a longstanding television series known for bringing artists together for special covers and duets.

"VIBE. CITY. This is gonna be a night to remember," Morris writes on social media to reveal the news.

Keys will sure get her fix for country music this year. Her Crossroads episode comes shortly after she spends an entire season sitting next to Blake Shelton as a judge on The Voice. Along with Miley Cyrus, Keys is a newcomer to the show.

“Two women coaches is what The Voice needs,” Keys tells People. “I’m looking forward to rooting people on and being here for the dreamers like me. You’re able to hear someone true for who they are, and that’s what music is.”

Morris is currently on the road alongside Brett Eldredge opening for Keith Urban as part of his Ripcord Tour. She will not be joining him on the international dates, but will be a part of the show until November, when it wraps up the North American leg.

Recent stars who have shared the Crossroads stage include Luke Bryan with Jason Derulo, Thomas Rhett with Nick Jonas, Jennifer Nettles with Cheap Trick and Charles Kelley with Rob Thomas. The episode will be taped in Nashville and will air on CMT on Dec. 2 at 10PM ET.
