Maren Morris Is ‘Feeling Sentimental’ as She Writes Her Wedding Vows
Maren Morris is set to marry fellow singer-songwriter Ryan Hurd in a few days, and she's doesn't mind admitting that she's feeling a little bit nostalgic as the wedding draws near.
The singer posted the photo above to Instagram on Wednesday (March 21), writing, "Writing vows, feeling sentimental AF and dreaming of this guy being my freaking husband in a few days."
Morris has been keeping fans up-to-date on her weddings plans online with the hashtag #GettingMurd. She shared a photo from her bachelorette party in February, which featured a guest list including RaeLynn, Cassadee Pope and Kree Harrison.

The couple have shared few details of the wedding beyond the fact that it will take place this weekend, but they know they want it to be a simple occasion without a lot of fuss.
"I feel like it's a year of us being celebrated because we make music and we had really incredible years," Morris tells Taste of Country Nights. "The wedding ... I just want it to feel like us the people and not us the artists. We're gonna have some tequila, my dog's gonna be there."
Morris met Hurd in a co-writing session when they were both starting out as songwriters in Nashville. Their transition from collaborators and friends to starting a romance served as the inspiration for Hurd's single, "Love in a Bar."
