Matt Kennon and Wife Welcome Baby Girl

Congratulations to Matt Kennon and his wife Tisha, who are now the proud parents to a brand new baby girl.

The happy couple welcomed daughter Shaynee Matisse Kennon into the world last week -- Thursday, Feb. 23 -- at 9:24PM. Their little girl weighed in at a healthy 7lbs, 2oz and measured an even 20 inches long.

"I knew the second I saw her, I was a goner," Kennon said in his first official statement since becoming a daddy. "A beautiful little girl has entered our lives."

Kennon's latest musical project, '77,' is a 13-track album, of which the singer-songwriter penned nine of the songs, including 'The Past Stops Here,' 'The Call' and 'Too Loud.' The album is currently available for purchase through iTunes or by clicking here.

Seeing how Kennon is such a passionate songwriter at heart, we wonder if his next album will be sprinkled with a softer tone now that his entire world is wrapped around the finger of his new little bundle of joy!
