It's been a while since Michelle Branch, formerly of country duo the Wreckers, has been able to release a new record; but news of what's to come for the singer-songwriter may be revealed during a live streaming chat on Dec. 21.

Recently, Branch announced her plans to scrap 'Everything Comes and Goes,' the album that has been awaiting a release date since she recorded it in 2007.

"I am so proud of this album and I so desperately wanted to share it with you," Branch wrote. "So many people crossed my path and gave their two cents about who I was and what I should sound like, that by the end of the day my original vision had been lost and buried ... I’ve had my moment of grief, and I think the only way I can get through it is by moving forward."

She will move on to working on a new album, which we hope to hear more about during her upcoming webcast. Tune in on Branch's official site on Tuesday, Dec. 21 at 8PM ET to watch acoustic performances of new and old tunes, and to ask Branch any questions you may have.

In other Branch news, her independently released album 'Broken Bracelet,' which she wrote when she was only 14, is now available via iTunes, Amazon and other online outlets.
