It’s Miranda Lambert’s ‘Famous in a Small Town’ Video!
Miranda Lambert's 2007 video for 'Famous in a Small Town' was filmed in Lebanon, Tenn., but it was inspired by the singer's experiences growing up in Lindale, Texas. Lambert chose Trey Fanjoy to direct the clip; he also was at the helm of 'Over You' and 'Fastest Girl in Town.'
This clip shows scenes of small town life as if they were headlines in a tabloid. Shots of teenage lovers quarreling are pulled from the action as the singer sings from a mock red carpet. The monument that stands behind her for most of the video is in the Lebanon town square.
