RaeLynn Marks Late-Night Debut With ‘Love Triangle’ on ‘Late Night’ [Watch]
Hot off the release of her chart-topping album Wildhorse, RaeLynn is making media rounds, including a stop at Late Night With Seth Meyers on Thursday (April 27).
The rising country star performed her emotional latest single, "Love Triangle," on the show, serving as her first appearance on late-night TV. Dressed in a skin-tight black dress, RaeLynn sings the touching number with poise and grace, crooning intimate lyrics like, "But some mamas and daddies / Let their heartstrings tear and tangle / And some of us get stuck / In a love triangle."
The 22-year-old country star gave a pitch perfect performance packed with emotion. "Love Triangle" was inspired by her own parents' divorce.
Wildhorse, RaeLynn's first studio album, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Country Albums chart, while also claiming the No. 20 spot on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart after its release. "Love Triangle" currently sits in the Top 30 on the Billboard country songs charts.
“Having a single that’s in the Top 30 and a No. 1 debut record is a dream come true," RaeLynn says of her recent success in a press release. "I feel overwhelmingly grateful and honored to be included in the company of the handful of other women who have debuted at No. 1 with their first record."
RaeLynn is currently on her first headlining tour, the 2017 RaVe Tour, which sees the star throwing a rave-like party for her fans. She performs a combination of her own songs along with some of her favorite dance tunes for fans. The tour launched on April 20 and continues through the end of May, when it wraps up at Nashville's Mercy Lounge.
