Randy Rogers' newborn daughter has passed away, a representative for the band confirms to Taste of Country. Rumer Rain Rogers was born to the singer and wife Chelsea on June 3, 2015 and died on June 9.

"She died in our arms and in no pain," the lead singer of the Randy Rogers Band said in a statement to radio station 93Q in Houston. "She was absolutely beautiful in every way. Her brain however was very sick."

"She died after a week-long battle with a very rare condition. I'm sure you all have many questions and we have all the answers the doctors gave us," Rogers adds, according to the radio station. "We can share the story with you. It's quite an extraordinary one. A memorial will be planned soon."

An official statement on the band's Facebook page reads:

Rumer Rain Rogers, daughter of Randy and Chelsea Rogers, passed away last night at Seton Memorial Hospital in Austin, Texas. Rumer died of natural causes, in her parents loving arms, just days after her birth. During this time of grieving, the family asks that individuals wishing to offer condolences make a donation to the children's charity of their choosing.
The family thanks you for your love and support.

Rumer was the couple's third child, following the birth of River Rose Rogers in 2013. Rogers also has an older daughter, Isabel, who is 5. Randy and Chelsea were married in March 2013. Randy Rogers Band are very popular in Texas and throughout the south, but have begun growing beyond state lines. Rogers and Wade Bowen recently released a collaborative album called Hold My Beer: Vol. 1. The RRB is scheduled to play Country Jam in Colorado, June 18-21.

Taste of Country sends thoughts and prayers to Rogers and his family during this difficult time. This story will be updated with more information as it becomes available.
