Ronnie Dunn's fans proved they can't wait for his new album by giving a big thumbs up to his new single 'Kiss You There' earlier this week. The track topped 'Slow Me Down,' the latest from Sara Evans, in a battle of two country veterans. Today and tomorrow, Dunn will face newcomer and respected songwriter Eric Paslay.

'Friday Night' is already a Top 40 track for Paslay. In addition to his solo cuts, the Texan has helped write songs like 'Barefoot Blue Jean Night' for Jake Owen and 'Angel Eyes' for Love and Theft. He'll have the benefit of familiarity as he takes on Dunn's new song.

Listen to clips of both Dunn and Paslay's songs and vote for your favorite here. You can vote once every hour until this Showdown ends on Friday at 8AM ET, so come back and vote often to be sure your artist wins. The winner of this matchup will face a new challenger on Friday.

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour online. If a song wins five Showdowns in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
